THE

A home away from home

The Ukrainian Students' Society is a non-profit organization recognized by the University of Alberta's Students' Union as a structure to promote the Ukrainian culture and language on campus and within the Edmonton community.

Our intention is to create a communal environment for Ukrainian and Ukrainian-Canadian students to collaborate and rejoice in our common cultural identity.

Through a variety of student-run events, intermural sports teams, and advocacy work, the Ukrainian Students' Society welcomes students from every background to participate in Ukrainian culture and activities!

We acknowledge that we are located on Treaty 6 territory—the traditional and ancestral territory of the Cree, Dene, Blackfoot, Saulteaux, and Nakota Sioux. We acknowledge that this territory is home to the Métis Settlements and the Métis Nation of Alberta, Regions 2, 3, and 4 within the historical Northwest Métis Homeland.
